Why Mobile-First Websites Win in Goa
Most customers in Goa browse on phones — here's how I design sites that load fast on 4G and convert visitors into WhatsApp enquiries.
When I test client sites, I always start on a phone — not a laptop. In Goa, tourists and locals search for taxis, food, and services while on the move.
A desktop-only layout might look fine in the studio, but it loses customers the moment someone tries to tap a tiny button on a small screen.
Thumb-friendly design
Big tap targets, sticky WhatsApp buttons, and readable font sizes matter more than fancy animations. I place contact actions where your thumb naturally rests.
For taxi sites like GoaTaxico, that means a visible call-to-action above the fold — not buried at the bottom of a long page.
Speed on real networks
I compress images, lazy-load galleries, and avoid heavy scripts. Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals are part of how I judge a finished site.
A bakery gallery should feel instant — not make someone wait while high-res cake photos load on patchy signal.
Test before launch
Before any site goes live, I check it on multiple screen sizes and slower connections. That habit comes from shipping real client work, not just school projects.
